Style Watch - Bralet

As I am sure you are all aware the bralet is a big staple for the summer time and all the celebs are wearing them. I know the bralet looks scary to some of us girls that don't have rock hard flat stomachs but these tops are so versatile they can be worn day or night with just about anything (well except maybe a mini skirt or shorts, except if your going the beech or just going for the slutty look). They can be dressed up or down, sexy or edgy. And if you don't want to show your stomach, you can easily pull out your high wasted jeans or a wear it with a blazer done up so the bralet is just peeking out (Which will definitely be the way I will be wearing it as no one wants to see my belly hanging out!) Almost every shop is stocking a bralet so you are bound to find one you like. There are so many different styles, patterns, colours and prices for everyone. Here are a few of my favourite bralets:

As I have been a little obsessed I decided to put together a day and night outfit:

Night

How would you wear a Bralet?

NOTD - Essie Fiji

Hey guys long time no blog!
I haven't been able to blog for a while as my brother decided to drop the laptop on the floor and smashed the screen so I only have my mums computer to use when I go to hers. So will have to bare with me for a while.
The other day I went in to Boots and saw the Essie stand had finally come to my local shop and I just couldn't resists and picked up a few
I have on Fiji which is a creamy opaque pale pink.It is opaque in two coats but can be a bit streaky so I put on three coats.
Oh wow I didn't realise how bad my cuticles were until I saw this picture, think they need a little TLC!

I really like the formulation of Essie. I wasn't sure whether I should get any at first as they are £8 but in my opinion they are totally worth it and I am already eyeing up my next polish

Have you tried any of the Essie polishes? What are your favourite shades?

Not So Cool!

So I was just packing my makeup to take with me to pride when I noticed how many cool toned pink lipsticks I have. With pink being my favourite colour it is not hard to see why i have so many. The blue toned bubblegum pink look so gorgeous in the tube and so wearable but the problem is they look horrible on my warm skin toned. Everytime i go to the shop and see one I cannot resist and pick it up just hoping that it will look good even though in the back of my mind I know it will look awful.I have wasted so much money on these with lipsticks from YSL to natural collection but looking in my collection today I think it is time to say enough is enough and realise as much I hate it that they do not and will not ever suit you and too just stop wasting my money.

Is there anything that doesn't suit you but still cant resists?

May favoutites

Hey lovelies
Can't believe it is June already I feel like I say this all the time but the days are just flying by. It is so scary to think I will be 22 in like a month argh,
I am sure by now you all know that a new month means monthly favourites. I do love these posts but it is bad for me to read them because my wishlist gets bigger and bigger every month hehe :)
Here are my favourites for this month:

Bourjous Healthy Mix ~ I brought this foundation a while back but just didn't use it because I was using my Chanel foundation but I decided to try it and I love it. It is similar to my Chanel vitalumiere aqua. It has medium coverage, doesn't look cakey and leaves a glowy look to the skin. I have been using healthy mix as my everyday foundation all month.

Mac paint pot bare study ~ I have been on a job seekers course this past month so I have not had any time in the morning to put much makeup on. So instead  I have just been putting bare study all over with a bit of eyeliner and mascara. I have to wear a primer undernearth otherwise it creases after a few hours as I have oily eyelids.

Lacura(Aldi) Concealer Pen ~ (I am a bit messy and as you can see it has been well loved so just ignore the state of the packaging) I have heard really good things about this and how it compares to the YSL Touche Eclat so when I went in to aldi and saw it was £3.59 I thought why not. Now I haven't used the Touche Eclat so I cannot compare them but i do love this. it covers my dark circles but to be fair I don't really have bad under eye circles (probably the only skin problem I don't suffer from) and it doesn't crease either which is always good!

Barry M Touch Of Magic Lipstick ~ I love this lipstick, it comes out as a bright pink on me. It lasts all day even with eating and drinking. The only down side is it can get patchy when it starts to fade which is never a nice look so throughout the day I have to just check how it is looking.

Babyliss Glamour Waves ~ I have been styling my hair using this curling tong all month to give my hair volume and big soft curls and it works brilliant. The curls are not to tight but still give you a lovely curl.

What are your May favourites?

I am off to Birmingham Pride this weekend so as long as I don't have too many cocktails I will hopefully be able to do some outfit posts. There are always such amazing and shall we say interesting outfit chooses over pride so I will try and get plenty of pics!
